Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons DT Day!!

I am sooo excited for my very first post as part of the new design team over at Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons!!! This DT is so super talented, I cannot wait for them to share all their projects with you!! I've had a little peek at them already and they are so great!

Here is what I created using some of the digital paper packs from Lisa's store, Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons....

I have been wanting to make a neutral card and matching bag for a baby for a while now and the colors in the Sunny Skies line are PERFECTLY neutral!

I used a bottle from the Simple Shapes Bundle from Lettering Delights. I used the trace function to make a shape that was the outline of the bottle which I filled in using the yellow chevron pattern from the Sunny Skies Mod Circles & Chevron paper pack.

I cut a blue rectangle, which I had filled with the blue honeycomb pattern from the Honeycomb pack, and used a corner punch to round the corners. The little heart was filled with the striped pattern from Sunny Skies Pattern Pack 2 and then inked with Frayed Burlap Distress Ink. For some final details I added a kraft twine bow, a couple little pearls and some faux stitching with a white gelly roll pen.

Here are the pattern packs I used for this project....

Make sure to head on over to the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons blog for more awesome inspiration!!! There also may be some NEW releases for Halloween!!! ;) And one more thing... make sure to mark October 3rd on your calendars - some members of the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons DT will be joining some 3 Girl Jam DT members for an awesome blog hop!!

PBD Post - Fairytale

Have I ever told you I love my Cameo?? Well, I do.... :) I don't think I have hardly touched my cricut since I figured out how to work my Cameo. I love how great it cuts intricate shapes, like this card...

I used a file from the Silhouette store and this card took me minutes to make. After I cut the shapes out, I added some homemade glitter spray (PearlEx and water in a mister) to the dark purple layer. This card is sooo glimmery in person but of course a picture doesn't really capture it.

All I had to do was add my sentiment - Inner Princess set by Pink By Design - and heat emboss it using white powder. Since the current challenge over at Pink By Design is to use material (other than ribbon) in your project, I decided to make a felt flower to add to my card. Then I added som pearls and some doodles with a white gelly roll pen to finish it off.

Make sure you link your projects using material up over HERE!!!

Halloween Goody Bags

Hi friends!! Hope everyone is having a great weekend!! :) The weather is beautiful here and my girls and I went outside this morning for a Tea Party in our yard! It was so much fun... I love being able to make memories like this with them while they are little.

I even dressed them in a couple pieces of clothes that I wore when I was little! :)
Ok, onto my project!!!!

I'm sure you've heard me mention it before, but my baby is due November 5th and since my other babies were a little early I thought it would be smart to get anything Halloween related done ahead of time. Since Bria has 24 kids in her playschool class (they're split, but they "party" together ;)) I wanted to make something cute, but not too time consuming for the kids. I used the new Monster Mash graphic set from Pretty Paper, Pretty ribbons.

I printed/cut out three little monsters from the set. I bought the tag shapes from the Silhouette store, punched a hole in the top and tied them to the goody bags.

The sentiments on each tag came from a Pink By Design stamp set that I don't have the name of at this moment.... Sorry, too lazy to go downstairs... :)

All of the monsters are popped up with foam stickers to make then stand out a bit.

The 25% off sale over at Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons is still going on right now, so head over there to check out all Lisa's great graphics, SVGs and digital paper!! :) Use 35candles to get your discount!!

I'm off to link this up over at Scrappy Moms Halloween challenge!!! Enjoy the rest of your weekend!!

3 Girl Jam Challenge Guest Designer

Hi everyone!! :) I have another guest designer appearance today! I previously won a challenge over at 3 Girl Jam and part of being a winner was the honor of being asked to be a guest designer! The challenge this week is sponsored by Fresh Brewed and the theme of the challenge is coffee!

I went with a very simple card this week... It's my attempt at CAS which is not my usual style but it's fun to change things up sometimes!

I used the Baby Blue crinkle ribbon to add some texture to this card. The sentiment is from the Perk Up stamps set by Pink By Design.

I used a simple SVG from Lettering Delights and added a few little doodles with a white pen. The blue quatrefoil pattern blue paper is a digital file from Aesthetic Addiction on etsy. The yellow paper is from the Teresa Collins 6x6 paper pack (sorry... can't remember which one!!)

I am totally into blues and yellows right now...

Make sure you head on over to the 3 Girl Jam Challenge Blog and check out the newest challenge!!!

Washcloth Lollipops

Hi!! Guess what is awesome about today???? There is a 25% off sale over at the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons store!!!!

Today is also What's New Wednesday at Lisa's blog - Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons so make sure to check out the new goodies she will be putting into the store!! :)

So just wondering, have you guys ever checked out the Link It Up Tuesdays posts over at Sarah Hamer Designs (Pink Cricut)?? It's a super fun link up party that has sooooo many different crafty ideas. I have seen so many awesome ideas on there. Make sure to check it out - it has tons of ideas from baking to jewelry to altered items.

I'm sure you have heard me mention that this past weekend I got crafty for my cousin's baby shower and then I deleted all the pics of everything I made... :( Well, I found a couple pics of some washcloth lollipops I made! I was inspired by Ruthie's lollipops over at September Ninth. Check out her burp cloth lollipops HERE

I made these the night before the shower so I was in a rush but if I were to do it again, I would add cute little tags (like Ruthie's) and make sure my ribbon wasn't fraying! :(

These were very cheap to make... I picked up the washcloths from the dollarstore, as well as the clear cello wrap. I had the sticks in my baking cabinet from some cake pop supplies I had picked up a while ago.

I hope you like these! It's a little change from the usual cards and layouts! If you'd like to check out any of the other goodies I made for the baby shower, here are a couple of posts!

Post is HERE

Post is HERE

Post for two projects above is HERE

My favorite project was a layout that served as a guest book for little baby Alli... It was so pretty and probably the project I liked the most - and I accidentally deleted the pics. :(

Anyways.... That will be enough little girl projects from me for a while!!!! Probably.... ;)

We Appreciate You Teacher

Tomorrow is Bria's second First Day of Playschool! :) She went last year too, but this year she's one of the BIG kids! She told me she's going to teach the other kids how to sit on the carpet when they get there, where their cubbies are and also that she is allergic to nuts and dairy.... I hope she's not too bossy!!! :)

This week's challenge over at Peachy Keen is to create a teacher card. I recently picked up a free graphic over at MyGrafico and I thought this was the perfect opportunity to use it. I knew it would look adorable with a little PK face!

Aww... cute! :) The plaid paper is from the Animal Crackers DCWV stack, inked around the edges with Faded Jeans Distress Ink. The doily is from the dollar store, twine from The Twinery and banner plus sentiment are from two different Pink By Design stamp sets - Our Teachers and Everyday Banners.

I know I have said sooo many times before that I am obsessed with using print and cut with my cameo..... WELL, I'm going to say it again... :) I used some digital paper from Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbon to make the circle with the chalkboard writing.

I am so in love with digital paper... I think every project I have made in the last couple weeks has used digital paper.

I wanted to mention I hopped along with the PK Design Team last week and ended up winning a $20 gift certificate to the Peachy Keen store!! Just wanted to say THANKS PK!! :)

I'm off to run some errands and entertain my kids for a while!! Have a great day!!

Baby Boy

Hi out there! What have you all been up to??? This weekend we were super busy with throwing a baby shower for my cousin's baby girl! I made a few cute little projects that I was sooo excited to show you all.... but I deleted most of the pics!!!! :( In the craziness of the shower my memory card in my camera was full and I started deleting pics, obviously not paying much attention!!  I was pretty mad at myself when I realized what I did!! Anyways... I have a baby BOY card to show you today! I have been so busy with my cousin's little girl's projects, I thought I would change things up!!

I have made some pretty simple projects lately... I've been trying to get done a lot of projects, and this is another quick, easy card.

I placed my very first Trendy Twine order not too long ago and I have to say, I am in love.... The twine I used on here is the kraft twine. I bought it and thought I MIGHT use it and I have used it on sooo many projects already! I'll definitely be buying a spool of this next time I spot a sale over at Trendy Twine!

I wanted to make sure how much dimension this card has.... The white and kraft layer is popped up with foam stickers and there is a piece of patterned paper underneath.

Love this sentiment from the Baby Love Pink By Design set. I have used it so much lately.

I'll be linking this project over at Trendy Twine's monthly challenge in hopes to win some more of this awesome twine!!

Along with my exciting announcement, I also have a couple cards I wanted to show you! I created them for the Back To School Challenge over at the Cameo Creations challenge blog
I know it seems odd... but we have our High School's graduation the third weekend in September. I have no idea why...  (warning - the quality of these pics is junk but I'm on my way out the door for the day!)

I used a graphic set from MyGrafico, print and cut with my cameo and then added some glossy accents. The paper is Momenta and the twine is Kraft twine from Trendy Twine (which I am soo in love with right now)!!

This sentiment is from the Hats Off set from Pink By Design.

Of course I had to make a girl version as well...

This sentiment also came from Hats Off.
Thanks so much for stopping by today!!! I'm off to go run errands for the day!!

3 Girl Jam Guest Designer!

Hey Everyone!! Today I am the guest designer over at the 3 Girl Jam Blog!! It's my second time being a guest designer over there and I'm so happy they decided to have me back!

Did you know 3 Girl Jam now has a Challenge Blog?? I was actually the winner of last week's challenge!! So see my layout that won, check out THIS post! This week's challenge is Ribbon Flowers! So love this  idea!!

Today and tomorrow I have projects on my blog made for the baby shower I am helping to put on this weekend for my cousin's new baby girl!

I used the Baby Girl Collection from Bella Blvd to make this layout.

I used my 3 Girl Jam bow maker to make tiny little green bows that look like the stem/leaf of the flower.

I hope you like my project today! Don't forget to head on over to the 3 Girl Jam blog and check out their awesome products!! I cannot get enough of my bow maker, so make sure to take a peek at that!!

Peachy Keen Color Challenge

Hi again! :) Another double post day for me! I have been trying really hard to enter a lot of challenges lately. Before I started with any Design Teams I used to enter a lot of challenges but lately it hasn't been as frequent. I know that when the new baby comes my crafting time will be significantly reduced so I'm having as much crafty fun right now as I can!! :)

I used some bug graphics from MyGrafico, printed then cut them (surprised???) and added some cute Peachy Keen faces. I also added some glitter for some detail and a sentiment from the Gratitude stamp set from Pink By Design.

I popped up my two little bugs to draw attention to them.

Thanks for stopping by! Make sure to stop again tomorrow for my guest designer appearance at 3 Girl Jam and a special announcement!!

Baby Girl Shower!

Hi there! Another quick post today since I'm off to the Dr this morning and didn't get this post up last night...
It's my day to post over at Pink By Design!! I made two pretty simple projects with the Sweet Baby stamp set. I'm helping put on a baby shower for my cousin's baby this weekend so I was busy making stuff for that this week.

The first is a tag I made to attach to her basket of goodies I picked up for her.

The second is the prizes for the three games we're going to play!

If you'd like more details (and pics) please head on over to the Pink By Design blog!!

Play. Inspire. Celebrate.

Hey there! Quick post today! I'm busy working on a couple of projects so I don't want to spend a lot of time on here! :)

I made this card for the Put Me In Coach Callenge over at Stuck On U Sketches Challenge Blog.

The colors of our minor hockey teams in town are aqua, black and white - which I was happy to go with since these were my team's colors when I played minor hockey! I cut the hockey player with my cameo, and purchased him from the Silhouette online store. I used a jagged border to cut a piece to run along side my card. The teams' names are called the Sharks so I thought the border looked a bit like shark teeth! I used the My Type stamp set from Pink By Design and a little twine from the Twinery. For added detail I used some black soot distress ink and a white gel pen.

The hockey player is popped up with foam stickers to give dimension.

Hope you liked my quick card today!! I have a fun announcement to make this week, as well as a project for my Guest Designer spot over at 3 Girl Jam so make sure you come back soon!

Happy Grandparents Day!

Quick post, since it's my second one of the day!! :) I have been crafting up a STORM these past couple weeks - AND I've still had time to keep my house clean and keep the girls active with fun activities! I hope this energy keeps up right until the end of my pregnancy! Or at least another couple weeks! :)

Here is the card I made based on the sketch over at the Peachy Keen Connection...

I just realized this morning that tomorrow is Grandparents day!!! I actually didn't even know such a day existed.... bad, bad, bad.... This year, I will hopefully make up for it since my parents are the most AMAZING grandparents my girls could ask for!!!

I used a cute little graphic from MyGrafico, print/cut, then added some super cute PK faces. I used the Grandparents set from Pink By Design for the sentiment on the front, as well as the inside of the card. The hearts are also cut using my Silhouette and I added some faux stitching around them to give them a little more detail.

I used some twine from The Twinery as well as some pop dots to finish up my card!!

(inside of card)

Hope you like my project!! Funny because I think I may have jinxed myself... In the time it took me to write this post, I've gotten a little sleepy!! I think I may go have a rest while the kids are down.... :)
